Drift

A two-player strategy game on a 6x6 grid where players place tokens and then shift the entire board in a chosen cardinal direction. Tokens that slide off the edge are permanently removed. First to align four in a row wins. How to Play

  • Goal: Align 4 of your tokens in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
  • Each turn has 2 phases:

1. Place: Tap any empty cell to place your token.

2. Drift: Choose a direction (North, South, East, West) — ALL tokens on the board slide one cell that way.

  • Tokens that slide off the board edge are permanently removed.
  • Think ahead: Your placement and drift choice are linked — plan where tokens will end up after the shift.
  • Edge tokens are vulnerable to being pushed off; center tokens are safer but shift every turn.
  • Win: First player with 4 in a row after a drift wins. If both get 4 in a row, the active player (who chose the drift) wins.
  • Draw: If no winner after 30 turns, the game is a draw.
